Shipping and Deliveries
Shipping your package
Packages are generally dispatched within 2 days of receipt of payment and are shipped via GLS, BRT, and UPS with tracking and drop-off without signature. If you prefer delivery with UPS Extra with signature required, an additional cost will be applied, so please Please contact us before choosing this method. Whatever shipping method you choose, we will provide you with a link to track your package online.
Shipping costs include handling and packaging charges and postage. Handling costs are fixed, while shipping costs vary depending on the total weight of the shipment. We recommend that you group your items into one order. We cannot group two separate orders placed separately, so shipping costs will be charged for each order. Your package will be sent at your own risk, but special care is taken with fragile items.
The boxes are adequately sized and your items are well protected.
The CUSTOMER, when completing the order, has the possibility to choose between the following two delivery methods:
Shipping and home delivery by courier chosen by the SELLER;
Delivery is intended to be at street level of the address you provide us. Any damaged items must be notified to A. Poggi no later than 7 days after receipt of the goods. Breakages must be documented with photographs. Since the claim is subject to inspection, the internal and external packaging must be retained for inspection by the courier.
In-store pickup
Through the “Collect in store” delivery method, the CUSTOMER will collect the product purchased in our store at Via Calzaiuoli, 103R Florence without any additional costs whatsoever”. The collection from the store by the CUSTOMER must be carried out within 10 days of the forwarding by the SELLER of the confirmation of availability of the goods in the store.
In the event that the CUSTOMER is unable to collect the goods, he/she may delegate in writing a person appointed by him/her for the collection, specifying the name, surname, date and place of birth of the delegate, as well as the number of the identification document of the same, who must, as stated, sign for the collection of the goods”.
In the case of shipping and home delivery by courier, the shipping costs will be visible to the CUSTOMER in the Cart, before confirming the order, and on the purchase order summary page. The products will be shipped to the delivery address that the CUSTOMER indicated during the formation of the Order. The participation in the costs for the preparation and shipping of the Order are understood to be VAT included. The CUSTOMER will be notified of the shipment by email. The CUSTOMER has the right to choose the place of delivery. In the event of absence at the time of delivery to the address indicated by the CUSTOMER, a notice of passage will be left in his letterbox. The CUSTOMER can agree with the courier a second delivery attempt. Delivery is understood to be at street level of the address that he will provide us.
If this deadline is exceeded, the package will be sent back to the SELLER. Customer Service will contact the CUSTOMER for a possible new shipment and, in the absence of a response within 30 days, will proceed to refund the order excluding the shipping costs incurred by the CUSTOMER at the time of order confirmation. In the case of free shipping, the SELLER reserves the right to recover the same.
THE SELLER will endeavor to deliver the products to the CUSTOMER as quickly as possible. The maximum term established for delivery is thirty working days starting from the date of the Order, unless otherwise indicated to the CUSTOMER before the final confirmation of the Order. In this case THE SELLER will indicate to the CUSTOMER the different delivery term.
At the same time as the shipment of the package containing the ordered items, the SELLER will send the CUSTOMER an email to the address indicated in the order form which will contain a shipping number to track the shipment and a link that will allow monitoring of the delivery.
In case of problems or delays in delivery exceeding 10 working days after the date indicated in the order confirmation email, the CUSTOMER is required to report the SELLER by contacting CUSTOMER Service at the email address: shop@apoggi.com.
The CUSTOMER will be informed by email of the possible partial delivery of an order. A subsequent email will inform the same of the delivery of the other products or services requested.
Each delivery is considered to have been made when the product or service is made available to the CUSTOMER by the carrier. The delivery can be verified through the tracking link sent to the CUSTOMER by email, at the time of shipment. Without prejudice to the right of withdrawal recognized to the CUSTOMER pursuant to art. 7, it will be the CUSTOMER's responsibility to check the shipment upon its arrival and make all reservations and disputes that he/she deems to be well-founded, as well as refuse the package if he/she finds that it may have been opened or if the package shows obvious signs of deterioration. Such disputes must be indicated on the delivery note and communicated to customer service via the email shop@apoggi.com within 24 hours of the working day following delivery of the Order. CUSTOMER Service will then open an investigation with the courier or carrier. The CUSTOMER will receive an email message informing him/her that an investigation has been opened.
The package ready for shipment is sent via the courier chosen by the SELLER.
The CUSTOMER is informed of the shipment by an email message indicating the products and the package reference number, which allows the status of the shipment to be monitored by accessing the indicated link or by calling CUSTOMER Service on (+39) 334 7264747 from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm.
The CUSTOMER also has the possibility of monitoring the shipping status of their package on the website of the chosen courier, which will be communicated to the CUSTOMER.
THE SELLER will not ship any order addressed to a PO box nor will it accept any order in which it is not possible to identify the person placing the order, the recipient of the products ordered or the delivery address.
