The famous Angel – today known in every corner of the world as the symbol of the South Tyrolean city – was followed by the creation of teddy bears and ladybugs, butterflies, hearts, balloons and flowers, in a succession of collections now inspired by nature , now to traditional values of the Thun house , each characterised by the softness of the shapes and the scrupulous choice of raw materials.

Since then, the creative atelier run first by Lene and Otmar Thun, then by their son and grandson, has continued to create unique collections capable of giving you great emotions.

Nella penombra s’intravede la bocca dischiusa, incorniciata da un paio di guanciotte rubiconde. La mamma accarezza quel faccino e, come a voler fermare quel momento di infinita gratitudine e dolcezza, va nel suo studio e ne fa un modello d’argilla. Sei a Bolzano, un giorno imprecisato del 1950, e hai appena assistito alla nascita dell’Angelo di Thun.

Come le opere d’arte più belle, Thun nasce dall’ispirazione di un momento.

Al celebre Angelo – oggi conosciuto in ogni angolo del mondo come simbolo della città altoatesina – seguì la realizzazione di orsetti e coccinelle, farfalle, cuori, palloncini e fiori, in un susseguirsi di collezioni ora ispirate alla natura, ora ai valori tradizionali di casa Thun, ognuna contraddistinta dalla morbidezza delle forme e dalla scrupolosa scelta delle materie prime.

Da allora, l’atelier creativo gestito prima da Lene e Otmar Thun, poi dal figlio e dal nipote, ha continuato a creare collezioni uniche in grado di regalarti grandi emozioni.
